Riboxine is a medication that regulates metabolism. This drug is a predecessor of purine nucleotides synthesis such as adenosine triphosphate and guanosine triphosphate. The active ingredient of Riboxine is inosine.
Riboxine has antihypoxic, metabolic and antiarrhythmic properties. It increases energy balance of myocardium, improves coronary blood circulation, and prevents from intraoperational kidneys ischemia. It participates in glucose transmission and activates tissue breathing and xanthine dehydrogenase. Riboxine stimulates nucleotides synthesis, increases ferments activity in krebs cycle.
Penetrating cells, inosine provides for myocardium relaxation in diastole.
Riboxine decreases platelet aggregation, activates tissue regeneration (particularly myocardium and GIT mucous membrane).
Uses:
- Ischemic heart disease
- Myocardium dystrophy
- Post myocardial infarction conditions
- Heartbeat disorder (particularly during glycosidic intoxication)
- Myocarditis
- Dystrophic myocardium changes after intensive psysical workloads and carried infections
- Hepatitis
- Liver cirrhosis
- Fat dystrophy in liver due to alcohol or other medications impacts
- Prophylaxis of leukopenia during radiation
- Surgery on isolated kidney (as a pharmacological defense when the blood circulation was temporarily stopped).
Directions:
Tablets: daily dosage is 0.6-2.4 g. During the first days the dosage is 0.6-0.8g (200mg every 3-4 times a day). In case of positive effects, the dosage may be increased up to 1.2 g (0.4g 3 times a day), if necessary up to 2.4g per day. The course of treatment is 1-3 months.
Riboxine for sportsmen:
- Positively affects protein synthesis
- Provides for ATP creation
- Increases blood circulation
- Increases energy
- Improves heart work
- Relieves gastritis during pregnancy
- Provides for increased hemoglobin carrying capacity
- Participates in metabolism process
- Stimulates insulin creation
- Expands vessels
- Increases endurance and hence the performance during workout
- Strengthens immunity, stimulates regeneration process in muscles
Riboxine is an anabolic medication, It stimulates metabolism and has antihypoxic action.
