Dosage Regimen
| The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen. |
The recommended daily dose for adult men is two capsules. The capsules should be taken orally with a meal, swallowed whole with a sufficient amount of water (approximately 200 ml).
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. The duration of intake is one month. If necessary, the course can be repeated after consulting a physician. It is important to maintain adequate fluid intake during the use of the supplement.
The product is not intended for continuous use throughout the year without medical supervision. A break between courses is recommended to assess the body’s response and prevent potential habituation or accumulation of fat-soluble vitamins.
Adverse Reactions
When used as directed, adverse reactions are uncommon. However, in cases of individual hypersensitivity, allergic reactions such as skin rash, itching, or urticaria may occur.
Due to the high content of certain vitamins and minerals, exceeding the recommended dose may lead to undesirable effects. Gastrointestinal disturbances, including nausea, epigastric discomfort, or diarrhea, are possible, especially if taken on an empty stomach.
Rarely, components like ginseng may cause nervous system effects such as insomnia, headache, or palpitations in sensitive individuals. If any adverse reactions occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor.
Drug Interactions
Consult your physician before use if you are taking any other medications. The components of Siviten Drive may interact with certain drugs.
Vitamin A can interact with oral retinoids (e.g., isotretinoin, acitretin), increasing the risk of hypervitaminosis A. Concurrent use with blood-thinning medications like warfarin may require closer monitoring of coagulation parameters, as vitamin E can possess anticoagulant properties.
Ginseng may interact with antidiabetic drugs (insulin, sulfonylureas), potentially enhancing their hypoglycemic effect, and with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs). It may also affect the metabolism of drugs processed by the cytochrome P450 enzyme system. Zinc can reduce the absorption of tetracycline and quinolone antibiotics; therefore, a time gap of at least 2 hours between intakes should be observed.
Overdose
In case of accidental overdose, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of acute overdose are most likely associated with the fat-soluble vitamins and minerals in the composition.
Potential signs may include severe headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. Chronic excessive intake of vitamin A can lead to hypervitaminosis A, characterized by dry skin, hair loss, joint pain, and liver toxicity.
Excessive intake of vitamin E may increase the risk of bleeding. High doses of zinc can cause copper deficiency, leading to neurological problems and anemia. There is no specific antidote; treatment is symptomatic and supportive.
