Pharmacological Action

Anthelmintic and choleretic agent of plant origin.

The anthelmintic action of tansy flowers is due to the presence of essential oil.

The complex of biologically active substances of tansy flowers also has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effects, enhances bile secretion, and reduces the mucus content in bile.

Indications

Use this medication for the treatment of the following conditions as determined by a healthcare professional.

  • Ascariasis and enterobiasis for its anthelmintic properties.
  • As a choleretic agent within a comprehensive treatment plan for chronic non-calculous cholecystitis and hypomotor dyskinesia of the biliary tract to stimulate bile flow.
