Elixir is a transparent reddish-brown liquid with a characteristic odor; during storage.

Excipients: sugar up to 30 g, 40% ethanol to make 1 L of elixir.

Pharmacological Action

A combined herbal preparation. It has a pronounced choleretic effect (stimulates the formation and secretion of bile), possesses anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antispasmodic, membrane-stabilizing activity, as well as a bacteriostatic effect against Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus faecalis, Escherichia coli; it stimulates the detoxification function of the liver.

The vitamins contained in the preparation (ascorbic acid, carotene, B vitamins) contribute to the normalization of metabolism.

Indications

  • As a choleretic agent in the therapy of chronic non-calculous cholecystitis, biliary dyskinesia of the hypokinetic type.

Dosage Regimen

The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. Administer the elixir orally.

Dilute 20-40 drops in 50-100 ml of water.

Take three times daily, 30 minutes before meals.

Adhere to a standard treatment course of 3-4 weeks.

Do not exceed the recommended dosage or duration without medical supervision.

Consult a physician for any extension of therapy or for conducting repeated treatment courses.

Use the provided dropper for accurate dosing.

With caution (due to the ethanol content in the preparation): epilepsy, brain injuries and diseases, alcoholism.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

The drug is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.

Use in Hepatic Impairment

Contraindicated in acute and subacute liver dystrophies, acute hepatitis.

Pediatric Use

Contraindicated under 18 years of age.

Special Precautions

The preparation contains at least 35% ethanol.

Storage Conditions

Store the drug in a cool place, protected from light, out of the reach of children.

Shelf Life

Shelf life – 3 years.

Do not use after the expiration date printed on the packaging.
