Therapeutic Category
Dietary supplement for normalizing uric acid levels
Properties
Java tea (Orthosiphon stamineus) has diuretic properties. The diuretic effect is associated with an increase in glomerular filtration and enhanced excretion of urea, uric acid, and chlorides from the body. Its intake leads to urine alkalinization. It has an antispasmodic effect on the smooth muscles of internal organs and is used as part of complex therapy for acute and chronic kidney diseases accompanied by edema, albuminuria, and the formation of kidney stones; for cystitis and urethritis, gout and diabetes; for cholecystitis and cholelithiasis, heart diseases with edema.
Ginger (officinale and aromatic) and galangal have antispasmodic action, improve digestion, and have a general tonic effect.
Field horsetail has diuretic properties and is effective for edema, inflammatory processes of the bladder and urinary tract.
Long turmeric activates metabolism, reduces blood cholesterol levels, and improves fat metabolism. It normalizes digestive processes, increases the liver’s antitoxic function, stimulates bile production, and has choleretic, diuretic, antispasmodic, and antioxidant properties.
Thus, the components of the Urisan dietary supplement contribute to the normalization of protein metabolism, increased renal filtration, diuresis, and excretion of uric acid by the kidneys. They reduce elevated levels of uric acid in blood serum in hyperuricemia and gout.
