Pharmacological Action
The description of the drug is given in strict accordance with the text of the instructions approved by the Pharmacological Committee of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation dated February 22, 2001, protocol No. 2.
An agent affecting metabolic processes. A combined preparation containing multivitamins and Iron in specially selected doses that correspond to the needs of the child’s body. The pharmacological action of the drug is determined by the properties of its constituent ingredients.
Indications
- Prevention and treatment of hypovitaminosis and iron deficiency in children during periods of intensive growth;
- Increased need for vitamins and iron during high mental and physical stress;
- Unbalanced or inadequate nutrition;
- During the recovery period after illnesses.

Dosage Regimen
| The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen. |
Administer orally, strictly after a meal to enhance tolerability and absorption.
For children aged 2 to 4 years, prescribe one chewable tablet per day.
For children over 4 years of age, the dosage is one to two chewable tablets per day, as determined by the physician based on the child’s nutritional status and clinical need.
Instruct the child to chew the tablet thoroughly before swallowing; do not swallow whole.
The duration of therapy is determined individually by the attending physician, based on the indication and treatment response.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage to avoid the risk of vitamin accumulation or iron overload.
Concurrent long-term use with other multivitamin or iron-containing preparations is not recommended due to the potential for cumulative toxicity of fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E) and iron.
Monitor for potential adverse reactions, including allergic responses or darkening of stool, which is a harmless and expected effect.
Adverse Reactions
Allergic reactions to any of the components of the drug are possible. Stool may turn dark in color.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug.
Pediatric Use
Use is possible in children over 2 years of age according to the dosing regimen.
Special Precautions
Do not exceed the recommended dosage. It is not recommended to use Vitrum® Circus for a long time with other medicines containing these vitamins and Iron, as accumulation and, consequently, an overdose of vitamins A, D, E, or iron is possible.
Storage Conditions
Store at 2°C (36°F) to 25°C (77°F). Keep in original packaging, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
