Dietary supplement for improvement of condition of hair, skin and nails
Indications
- Vivacia Beauty Complex is a dietary supplement specifically formulated to provide comprehensive nutritional support for the maintenance and enhancement of the structural integrity and aesthetic appearance of hair, skin, and nails.
- It is indicated for adults seeking to supplement their diet with a targeted blend of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and botanical extracts that contribute to the health of connective tissues, promote collagen synthesis, and provide antioxidant protection against environmental stressors.
- The product is intended for use in individuals who may have increased nutritional demands or whose dietary intake may be insufficient to support the metabolic processes required for healthy skin, strong nails, and vibrant hair.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the dietary supplement. Individuals with a known allergy to any vitamin, mineral, or plant-derived ingredient in the formulation should avoid use.
- The product contains iron; therefore, it is contraindicated in patients with hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis, or other conditions associated with excessive iron accumulation in the body.
- Contraindicated in cases of severe renal impairment or end-stage renal disease due to the potential for altered electrolyte and mineral balance.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding women should not use this product without first consulting a healthcare professional due to the high content of certain vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin A (as beta-carotene from plant extracts) and iron, which can be harmful in excessive amounts during these sensitive periods.
Dosage Regimen
| The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen. |
The recommended dosage for adults is one tablet daily, taken with a meal and a full glass of water to enhance absorption and minimize potential gastrointestinal discomfort.
The tablet should be swallowed whole and not chewed or crushed. To ensure consistent levels of nutrients in the body and for optimal results, the tablet should be taken at approximately the same time each day.
The duration of continuous use should not exceed 2-3 months without consulting a physician or a qualified healthcare provider. Long-term use of high-dose vitamin and mineral supplements requires medical supervision to prevent potential imbalances or toxicity.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. The product is intended for use as a dietary supplement and is not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Adverse Reactions
Vivacia Beauty Complex is generally well-tolerated when taken at the recommended dosage. However, like any supplement, it may cause adverse reactions in some individuals.
The most commonly reported adverse reactions are gastrointestinal in nature and may include nausea, epigastric discomfort, abdominal pain, diarrhea, or constipation. These effects are often transient and may be mitigated by taking the tablet with food.
Due to the high content of ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), some individuals may experience heartburn or acid reflux. The iron content may cause darkening of the stools, which is a harmless and expected effect. In rare cases, allergic skin reactions such as rash, urticaria, or itching may occur, particularly in individuals sensitive to any of the components.
If any adverse reactions persist or worsen, or if you experience any other unusual symptoms, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional.
Drug Interactions
Iron contained in the supplement can reduce the absorption of several medications when taken simultaneously. These include tetracycline and fluoroquinolone antibiotics (e.g., ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin), levothyroxine, and bisphosphonates (e.g., alendronate). A minimum time interval of 2-3 hours should be observed between taking Vivacia Beauty Complex and these medications.
High doses of ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) may influence the urinary excretion of certain drugs, such as mexiletine, and can potentially cause false-negative results in stool occult blood tests. The Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) content may reduce the efficacy of levodopa in Parkinson’s disease patients; this is not a concern if levodopa is administered with a decarboxylase inhibitor (e.g., in preparations like carbidopa/levodopa).
The supplement contains calcium, which can bind to thyroid hormones and certain antibiotics, potentially decreasing their absorption. Take these medications at least 4 hours apart from the supplement. Patients on anticoagulant therapy (e.g., warfarin) should be aware that the vitamin K activity from plant extracts, though low, and high-dose Vitamin E (if present in other supplements taken concurrently) could theoretically affect coagulation parameters; regular monitoring is advised.
It is crucial to inform your doctor or pharmacist about all the products you are using, including prescription, over-the-counter, and herbal products, before starting this dietary supplement.
Overdose
In case of accidental overdose, where a significantly larger number of tablets than the recommended dose has been ingested, seek immediate medical attention or contact a Poison Control Center without delay.
Acute overdose with multivitamin/mineral preparations is often associated with severe gastrointestinal irritation, including nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. The most serious risks from a massive single overdose are linked to the iron and fat-soluble vitamins (such as Vitamin D). Iron overdose can be particularly dangerous, leading to metabolic acidosis, hepatic necrosis, and shock, and is a medical emergency.
Chronic overdose resulting from prolonged intake of doses exceeding the recommended amount can lead to hypervitaminosis and mineral accumulation, which may manifest as nonspecific symptoms like persistent headache, generalized weakness, bone and joint pain, and hair loss. Specific symptoms depend on the nutrient in excess; for example, excessive vitamin D can cause hypercalcemia. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.
