Before starting use, it is strongly recommended to consult with a physician or pharmacist, especially in the presence of any chronic diseases or ongoing medication therapy.
Dosage Regimen
| The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen. |
The recommended dosage for adults is one tablet once daily, taken with a meal. Swallow the tablet whole with a sufficient amount of water (approximately 150-200 ml). Do not chew or crush the tablet.
The duration of continuous use should not exceed one to two months. If there is a need for a repeated course, a break of several weeks is recommended. The specific duration of use should be determined based on individual needs and preferably under the guidance of a healthcare specialist.
Strictly adhere to the recommended dosage. Exceeding the stated dose does not enhance the beneficial effects and may increase the risk of adverse reactions. The supplement is intended for use as part of a balanced and varied diet and is not a substitute for a healthy lifestyle.
Adverse Reactions
Vivacia Multi A-Z is generally well-tolerated when used at the recommended dosage. However, in rare cases, or in individuals with particular sensitivity, the following adverse reactions may occur, primarily associated with the gastrointestinal tract or allergic manifestations.
Gastrointestinal disturbances such as nausea, epigastric discomfort, constipation, or diarrhea may occur, especially if the tablet is taken on an empty stomach. These symptoms are usually mild and transient. Allergic reactions, including skin rash, itching, urticaria, and redness, are possible in predisposed individuals.
Due to the content of riboflavin (vitamin B2), a harmless change in urine color to a bright yellow may be observed, which is a normal physiological phenomenon and does not require discontinuation of the supplement. If any persistent or severe adverse reactions occur, discontinue use immediately and seek medical advice.
Drug Interactions
The components of Vivacia Multi A-Z may interact with certain medications, potentially altering their effectiveness or increasing the risk of side effects. It is crucial to inform your doctor about all the medications and supplements you are taking.
Iron contained in the supplement can reduce the absorption of tetracycline and fluoroquinolone antibiotics, levodopa, levothyroxine, and bisphosphonates. To minimize this interaction, take the supplement at least 2-3 hours before or after taking these medications.
Vitamin K (phytomenadione) may antagonize the effect of oral anticoagulants like warfarin, potentially reducing their anticoagulant efficacy. Patients on such therapy should use this supplement with caution and under strict medical supervision with regular monitoring of INR (International Normalized Ratio).
Fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K) are better absorbed when taken with food. The minerals calcium, magnesium, zinc, and iron can interfere with the absorption of each other and with certain medications; maintaining a time interval is the primary strategy to manage these interactions.
Overdose
Acute overdose with a single ingestion of a very large number of tablets is unlikely but could lead to symptoms associated with hypervitaminosis of fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K) and iron toxicity. Symptoms of vitamin A overdose may include severe headache, dizziness, blurred vision, nausea, and peeling of the skin. Iron overdose is particularly dangerous and can cause abdominal pain, bloody diarrhea, vomiting, lethargy, and in severe cases, metabolic acidosis, shock, and liver damage.
Chronic overdose resulting from prolonged intake of doses exceeding the recommended one is more common. This can lead to the accumulation of fat-soluble vitamins (especially A and D) and minerals like copper, selenium, and iron, causing toxic effects. Symptoms may include bone and joint pain, hair loss, dry skin, liver function abnormalities, and neurological symptoms.
In case of suspected overdose, immediately discontinue use and seek urgent medical attention. Treatment is symptomatic and supportive. Gastric lavage may be considered if ingestion was recent. Specific antidotes, such as deferoxamine for iron poisoning, may be used in a hospital setting. Keep the product out of reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion.
