Homeopathic drops in the form of a clear liquid with a yellowish tint and a specific odor.

Belladonna (Belladonna) D6 10 ml
Pokeweed (Phytolacca) D6 10 ml
Bushmaster snake venom (Lachesis) D12 10 ml
Mercurius solubilis Hahnemanni (Mercurius solubilis Hahnemanni) D12 10 ml

Excipients: ethanol 43% by weight.

20 ml – dark glass dropper bottle (1) – cardboard boxes.

Pharmacological Action

A complex homeopathic preparation, the action of which is determined by the properties of the components included in its composition.

It has anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, immunostimulating, and detoxifying effects.

Pharmacokinetics

The action of the drug Vocara® is the result of the combined action of its components; therefore, conducting kinetic observations is not possible.

All components together cannot be traced using markers or bioassays.

For the same reason, it is impossible to detect the drug’s metabolites.

Indications

As part of the complex therapy of diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx, including:

  • Tonsillitis;
  • Pharyngitis;
  • Lymphadenitis;
  • Stomatitis;
  • Gingivitis.

Dosage Regimen

The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen.

Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age are prescribed 10 drops 3 times a day.

The course of treatment is 2-4 weeks.

If necessary, the course of treatment can be repeated after 1 month following consultation with a doctor.

In cases requiring rapid relief of symptoms, it is possible to take the drug every 0.5-1 hour until improvement occurs (but not more than 8 times), after which it should be taken 3 times a day.

Take orally undiluted or after dilution in 1 tablespoon of water, 30 minutes before or 1 hour after a meal, holding it in the mouth for 20-30 seconds before swallowing.

Adverse Reactions

Rarely:increased salivation.

The patient should be informed that if other side effects occur, they should consult a doctor.

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

The issue of using the drug Vocara® during pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding) is decided by the doctor individually.

Pediatric Use

Data on use in children under 12 years of age are not available.

Adolescents over 12 years of age are prescribed 10 drops 3 times a day.

The course of treatment is 2-4 weeks.

If necessary, the course of treatment can be repeated after 1 month following consultation with a doctor.

Special Precautions

Since the drug Vocara® contains natural herbal components, slight cloudiness of the solution or weakening of the odor and taste may be observed during storage, which does not lead to a decrease in the effectiveness of the drug.

Overdose

Cases of overdose have not been reported to date.

Drug Interactions

Clinically significant interaction of the drug Vocara® with other drugs has not been established.

Storage Conditions

The drug should be stored at a temperature not exceeding 25°C (77°F) in a place protected from light and strong electromagnetic fields, out of the reach of children.

Shelf Life

Shelf life – 5 years. Do not use after the expiration date printed on the packaging.

Dispensing Status

The drug is approved for use as an over-the-counter product.
