Properties
The Xefomyelin® dietary supplement contains important components (nucleotides and vitamins) necessary for the restoration of nerve fibers and strengthening of the nervous system.
Due to the optimal composition, the components of Xefomyelin® contribute to the normalization of nerve fiber function, reduction of unpleasant sensations, tension, and discomfort in the muscles of the back, neck, and limbs. All this contributes to increased activity, mobility, and preservation of well-being.
Conditions in which nerve fiber damage may be observed
- Nerve injury or compression (for example, by a herniated intervertebral disc);
- Infectious or long-term chronic diseases (for example, diabetes mellitus, alcoholism);
- Sedentary lifestyle.
The specified reasons lead to the loss of the protective myelin sheath by the nerve cell processes, their damage or death. As a result, the connections between nerve cells and the process of signal transmission from one nerve cell to another are disrupted. All this can lead to tension and discomfort in the muscles of the back, neck, and limbs.
After damage, the tissues of the human body are capable of restoration, including nerve cells. This is a complex process requiring an optimal amount of many substances, for example, pyrimidine nucleotides – uridine and cytidine – important components for accelerating the restoration of the nerve fiber. These substances are produced in the human body, but sometimes they are insufficient for the restoration of nerve cells and their protective myelin sheath. Therefore, their additional intake may be required.
Other substances necessary for the normal functioning of the nervous system cannot be synthesized by the human body at all and must be present in the diet in sufficient quantities. Such substances include B vitamins. Xefomyelin® contains the necessary components for the optimal functioning and renewal of nerve fibers: a large amount of uridine and cytidine, vitamins B1 and B12. Xefomyelin® provides the intake of substances necessary for restorative processes in nerve fibers.
Xefomyelin® does not contain gluten or lactose, nor does it contain preservatives or substances of animal origin. Xefomyelin® does not contain sugar (glucose), so it can be used in cases of metabolic disorders.
The effect exerted by the components of Xefomyelin®
Uridine – necessary for the synthesis of components of the protective myelin sheath of the nerve fiber, it contributes to its restoration. In addition, uridine is necessary for protein synthesis in the brain, restoration of nerve cell membranes, development of their processes, and formation of contacts between cells. Furthermore, uridine is necessary for maintaining attention and memory.
Cytidine – one of the key elements for information transmission during cell division. Cytidine and uridine can be mutually converted into each other in the human body. Therefore, it is important to have an additional intake of both components – both uridine and cytidine, to maintain a dynamic balance between them and ensure a sufficient amount of both substances.
Vitamin B1(thiamine hydrochloride) plays an important role in energy, carbohydrate, protein, and fat metabolism, as well as in the processes of signal conduction along nerve cells. It assists in the processes of regeneration of nervous tissue.
Vitamin B12(cyanocobalamin) is necessary for DNA synthesis and energy production. It supports the normal function of the nervous system and metabolism. Vitamin B12 contributes to the preservation of the myelin sheath of nerve fibers and its restoration in damaged areas of nerves. It also plays an important role in reducing the toxic effects of various substances, such as glutamate.
B vitamins are important elements of normal metabolism in the body. With their insufficient quantity, the rate of many metabolic reactions in the body slows down. This can also slow down the processes of nerve fiber restoration. Therefore, it is important to maintain vitamin levels at an optimal high level.
Restoration of nerve fibers and normalization of connections between nerve cells contribute to the reduction of tension and discomfort in the muscles of the back and neck, improvement of motor activity and vitality.
