Dosage Form, Packaging, and Product Composition

Means for irrigation and washing of the nasal cavity for children and adults (aerosol) in the form of a transparent colorless odorless liquid with a salty taste.

Auxiliary substances : purified water.
Does not contain preservatives.

125 ml – metal cans (1) with an anatomical nozzle for the nose with a “shower” type spray – four-layer bags (1) with a one-way valve – cardboard packs.
150 ml – metal cans (1) with an anatomical nozzle for the nose with a “shower” type spray – four-layer bags (1) with a one-way valve – cardboard packs.

Means for irrigation and washing of the nasal cavity for children and adults (aerosol) in the form of a transparent colorless odorless liquid with a salty taste.

Properties

Aqualor forte and Aqualor forte mini are used for the prevention and complex treatment of acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses and nasopharynx (infectious, allergic, atrophic), conditions after surgical interventions in the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses, during the period of rising colds.

The product is intended for the removal of mucus, reduction of secretions, softening and removal of crusts, and moisturizing of the nasal mucosa.

The use of Aqualor forte and Aqualor forte mini has a beneficial effect on the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity and nasopharynx, helps reduce nasal congestion and restore nasal breathing.

The hypertonic solution of sea water ensures a reduction in the swelling of the nasal mucosa by removing excess fluid from the intercellular space due to the difference in osmotic pressure.

After washing the nasal cavity with Aqualor forte or Aqualor forte mini, the therapeutic efficacy of drugs applied to the nasal mucosa is increased, the duration of respiratory diseases is reduced, and the risk of infection spreading to the paranasal sinuses and the ear cavity is reduced.

Scope of Application

• Prevention and complex treatment of acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses and nasopharynx (infectious, allergic, atrophic), incl.:
  • Rhinitis (incl. allergic and vasomotor);
  • Sinusitis (incl. sinusitis);
  • Adenoiditis.
• Prevention and complex treatment of respiratory infections (incl. ARVI);
• Condition after surgical interventions in the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses.

Dosage Regimen

The product is used intranasally.

Aqualor forte and Aqualor forte mini are used in children aged 1 year and older and adults.

Before using the medical device, it is necessary to treat the anatomical nozzle with boiling water or a solution of ethyl alcohol.

Method of application

Nasal washing in young children (under 2 years old) is carried out in the lying position

• Turn the child’s head to the side;
• Insert the tip of the can into the nasal passage located on top, rinse the nasal cavity for a few seconds;
• Remove the residual washing liquid with an aspirator, repeat the procedure if necessary.

Perform the procedure with the other nasal passage.

Nasal washing in children over 2 years old and adults

• Tilt the head to the side;
• Insert the tip of the can into the nasal passage located on top, rinse the nasal cavity for a few seconds;
• Remove the residual washing liquid with an aspirator in a child/blow the nose, repeat the procedure if necessary.

Perform the procedure with the other nasal passage.

Contraindications

• Individual intolerance to the components.

Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding

Pregnancy and breastfeeding are not contraindications to the use of Aqualor forte and Aqualor forte mini.

The product does not contain preservatives.

Storage Conditions

The product should be stored out of the reach of children, in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight, at a temperature from 5°C (41°F) to 25°C (77°F).

Shelf life – 3 years. Use by the date indicated on the packaging.
