Pharmacological Action

It is a herbal preparation. It contains triterpene saponins – aralosides, traces of alkaloids, essential oil, glycosides, fatty acids, ascorbic acid, vitamins B1, B2.

It stimulates the central nervous system (exceeds the activity of ginseng tincture), has a general tonic, hypertensive, and hypoglycemic effect. It improves appetite, sleep, reduces the feeling of fatigue, and strengthens the nervous system. It activates redox processes in tissues, the glucocorticoid-synthesizing function of the adrenal glands, increases the phagocytic activity of leukocytes and the body’s resistance.

Indications

Arterial hypotension, asthenia, decreased libido, neurasthenia, depression; condition after meningitis, traumatic brain injury, contusion; acute respiratory viral infections (as part of complex therapy), enuresis, post-influenza arachnoiditis, radiation sickness; physical and mental fatigue; periodontosis, toothache.

Dosage Regimen

The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen.

Take the tincture orally twice daily, strictly after meals in the morning and at midday.

Administer 30-40 drops per dose, diluted in a small amount (1/4 cup) of drinking water.

Adhere to a treatment course lasting 15 to 30 days.

Do not exceed the recommended duration of use without medical supervision.

For toothache, use a 20% decoction for topical mouth rinsing; do not swallow the rinse.

Avoid taking the tincture in the evening or before bedtime due to the risk of insomnia.

Discontinue use and consult a physician if adverse reactions such as tachycardia, significant hypertension, or euphoria occur.

This regimen is contraindicated in patients with arterial hypertension, epilepsy, increased excitability, or hypersensitivity to the plant.
