Pharmacological Action

Combined medicinal product for oral administration. It has antispasmodic and antacid action.

Belladonna leaf extract has an antispasmodic (m-cholinoblocking) effect. It prevents the stimulating action of acetylcholine; reduces the secretion of salivary, gastric, bronchial, lacrimal, sweat glands, and the pancreas. It reduces the tone of the muscles of the gastrointestinal tract, bile ducts, and gallbladder; causes tachycardia, improves AV conduction.

Sodium bicarbonate when taken orally interacts with hydrochloric acid of gastric juice, neutralizing it. It increases the excretion of sodium and chloride, osmotic diuresis.

Indications

Intestinal colic; hyperacid gastritis; heartburn; dyspepsia.

Dosage Regimen

The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen.

Take orally, 30-40 minutes before meals.

Administer 1 tablet as a single dose, 2-3 times per day.

Adhere to a maximum daily dose of 15 tablets for adults.

Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

Consult a physician if symptoms persist or for use beyond several days.

Adverse Reactions

Possible dry mouth, thirst, intestinal atony, urinary retention, tachycardia, mydriasis, accommodation paresis.

Contraindications

Angle-closure glaucoma; prostatic hypertrophy with impaired urine outflow; hypersensitivity to the components of the medicinal product.

Special Precautions

In case of overdose, psychomotor agitation, convulsions, accommodation paresis, acute urinary retention are possible.

Effect on ability to drive vehicles and mechanisms

During the treatment period, caution should be exercised when driving vehicles and engaging in other potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration, speed of psychomotor reactions, and good vision.

Drug Interactions

With simultaneous use with m-cholinoblockers, enhancement of the m-cholinoblocking action is possible.

Storage Conditions

Store at 2°C (36°F) to 25°C (77°F). Keep in original packaging, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
