Properties

According to publicly available scientific data, the main substances that are part of Betargin have the following properties

Arginine citrate is an amino acid that is involved in protein biosynthesis, urea metabolism, promotes the elimination of the end products of protein breakdown, and enhances the detoxification function of the liver.

Arginine is an important component in the process of nitric oxide (NO) biosynthesis, regulates vascular tone, helps maintain nitrogen balance, eliminates residual toxic nitrogen, has an antioxidant effect, normalizes microcirculation in the liver, saturates it with oxygen, and improves hepatoportal hemodynamics parameters.

Arginine also improves intracellular metabolism in hepatocytes, stimulates their activity, reduces the formation of free radicals harmful to liver cells, reduces hypoxia and inflammation, and promotes the regeneration of hepatocytes.

Betaine is a lipotropic substance involved in the biosynthesis of phospholipids, transport of triglycerides, oxidation and utilization of fats, prevents the occurrence and reduces fatty liver degeneration.

Betaine has antifibrotic and anti-inflammatory effects, helps reduce homocysteine levels, and prevents the risk of thrombosis and the progression of atherosclerosis.

Citrate ions, contained in Betargin, promote the digestive process in case of increased acidity, reduce acidosis, and eliminate dyspeptic manifestations (nausea, feeling of heaviness in the stomach, flatulence), which are often observed in liver diseases.

Betargin can be used to support liver function, improve protein and fat metabolism, accelerate the elimination of toxins, and support female and male health as part of a set of family planning measures.
