Dosage Regimen

It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen. |
Prepare the decoction or infusion immediately before use. Place 1 filter bag in an enamel or glass container, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of boiling water, cover, and infuse for 15 minutes, then squeeze the bag.
For oral administration, take the prepared infusion 3-4 times daily. For topical use, apply the prepared infusion or decoction 1-3 times daily, using it for irrigation, lotions, or sitz baths as directed.
The duration of therapy is determined by the physician based on the disease severity and clinical response.
Adverse Reactions
Allergic reactions, including skin rash, itching, urticaria, and redness, may occur.
Discontinue use immediately and consult a physician if any adverse reactions are observed.
Drug Interactions
Concurrent use with other diuretics may potentiate the diuretic effect, requiring possible dose adjustment. Exercise caution with concurrent use of photosensitizing drugs due to the presence of St. John’s Wort.
Monitor for reduced efficacy when used concomitantly with drugs metabolized by cytochrome P450 isoenzymes, as St. John’s Wort is a known inducer.
Contraindications
- Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to any plants in the mixture: cowberry leaves, St. John’s Wort herb, tripartite beggarticks herb, or rose hips.
- Do not use in patients with a history of photosensitivity reactions.
- Contraindicated in severe renal impairment where diuresis is undesirable.
Overdose
Symptoms of overdose may include severe nausea, vomiting, and dizziness due to excessive diuresis. Discontinue use immediately and initiate symptomatic and supportive treatment.
Ensure adequate hydration and correct electrolyte imbalances if they occur. Seek immediate medical attention for management of severe symptoms.
