Pharmacological Action

A complex homeopathic preparation, the action of which is due to the components that make up its composition.

Indications

• Primary osteoarthritis affecting various joints, including the knee and hip.
• Secondary osteoarthritis resulting from previous joint trauma or injury.

Apply the ointment for the symptomatic relief of joint discomfort and stiffness associated with these degenerative conditions.

Dosage Regimen

Apply the ointment externally by rubbing a thin layer onto the skin over the affected joint. Use this application twice daily, typically in the morning and evening.

The standard course of treatment is 6 weeks. Ensure the skin is clean and intact before application. Do not apply to broken skin, open wounds, or mucous membranes.

Adverse Reactions

Monitor for localized allergic reactions, such as skin redness, itching, or rash at the application site. Discontinue use immediately if these signs appear.

Be aware of a potential initial aggravation or short-term exacerbation of symptoms at the very beginning of therapy. This reaction is usually transient.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients (Capsicum annuum, Bryonia, Hypericum perforatum, Ledum palustre) or to any of the excipients in the ointment base.

Avoid use on damaged skin, including cuts, abrasions, or severe eczema. Do not use if you have a known allergy to plants from the Solanaceae family.

Drug Interactions

The preparation is considered pharmacodynamically compatible with other concurrently administered medicinal products.

Overdose

Overdose from topical application is unlikely due to limited systemic absorption. Excessive application may lead to intensified local adverse effects, such as severe skin irritation.

In case of accidental ingestion, seek medical attention immediately. Treatment is symptomatic and supportive. There is no specific antidote.
