Pharmacological Action
The pharmacological properties of the drug Centrum Silver are determined by the properties of the vitamins and minerals included in its composition.
Vitamin A is actively involved in redox processes, the synthesis of mucopolysaccharides, proteins, lipids, and in mineral metabolism. It contributes to the normal condition of skin epithelial cells and mucous membranes.
Vitamin E has antioxidant properties, prevents the formation of free radicals and maintains the stability of cell membranes, promotes the accumulation of glycogen in muscles and normalizes metabolic processes in them, and helps slow down the aging processes of body tissues.
Vitamin D (Colecalciferol) is a regulator of calcium-phosphorus metabolism in the body, preventing the development of osteomalacia and osteoporosis.
Vitamin C (Ascorbic acid) is involved in the synthesis of collagen, which contributes to the formation and maintenance of the structure and functions of blood vessel cells, bone tissue, and skin; it promotes wound healing.
Water-soluble B vitamins are involved in the biosynthesis and conversion of amino acids, fatty acids, energy metabolism, and redox processes.
Vitamin B1 (Thiamine) normalizes the activity of the nervous, cardiovascular, and endocrine systems.
Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin) improves the condition of the skin, mucous membranes, and liver; it protects the retina from the negative effects of ultraviolet rays.
Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride) is actively involved in protein metabolism and has a beneficial effect on the functions of the nervous system and liver.
Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin) is necessary for hematopoiesis, myelin synthesis, and the normal functioning of the nervous system.
Pantothenic acid is an important factor for the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, and amino acids.
Folic acid plays an important role in the metabolism of nucleic acids and proteins. It is necessary for normal hematopoiesis.
Biotin is an important component of a number of enzymes and is involved in the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins.
Iron is involved in erythropoiesis and, as part of hemoglobin, ensures the transport of oxygen to tissues.
Magnesium (magnesium oxide) enhances the body’s defenses.
Iodine is involved in the functioning of the thyroid gland, ensuring the formation of its hormones – thyroxine and triiodothyronine.
Copper (copper oxide) is involved in nitrogen metabolism, the formation of hemoglobin, and the formation of red blood cells.
Phosphorus (calcium phosphate) strengthens bone tissue and teeth.
Calcium (calcium phosphate) is involved in the formation of bones, dentin, and tooth enamel, and reduces vascular wall permeability.
Zinc (zinc oxide) is part of many enzymes and is a component of a number of vital hormones.
Manganese (manganese sulfate) is involved in fat metabolism and is a necessary component for the normal structure of bones.
Molybdenum (sodium molybdate) activates enzymes involved in the metabolic processes of carbohydrates, fats, and iron.
Potassium (Potassium Chloride) is a basic element in every living cell, regulates intracellular metabolism, water and salt balance, activates a number of enzymes, and participates in the most important metabolic processes.
Chromium (Chromium Chloride) is involved in the processes of regulating blood sugar levels.
Selenious acid solution 0.9% in 90% 2,2-dichloropropionic acid (sodium selenate) stimulates immunity and is an antioxidant. It contributes to the normal development of the cell.
Nickel (nickel sulfate) is directly involved in metabolism and is necessary for the normal development of the body.
Tin (tin (II) chloride) is involved in protein synthesis.
Silicon (sodium metasilicate) plays an important role in the formation of bone tissue and promotes the development of skin.
Vanadium regulates cholesterol levels, stimulates glucose utilization, and activates DNA synthesis.
