Dosage Regimen

The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen.

Sponge

The plate is applied to the wound (including after harvesting a skin graft) with the porous surface, and its edges should overlap the wound edges by 0.5-1 cm.

The plate is fixed with 1-2 layers of gauze (without cotton wool).

The condition of the wound surface is monitored daily, once a day with scant exudate, twice a day with copious exudate.

Autodermoplasty is performed on areas where succulent pink granulations form under the plate.

Leave on the donor site until self-detachment upon complete epithelialization of the wound.

For post-traumatic wounds, it is recommended to use after cleansing the wound of necrotic tissues, with the beginning growth of healthy granulations, and during the epithelialization of small wounds.

For trophic ulcers and bedsores, it is recommended to use after cleansing the wound surface of necrotic tissues and achieving low bacterial contamination.

Adverse Reactions

Secondary infection; allergic reactions.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity; copious wound exudation; skin necrosis; infected wounds (more than 100 thousand microbial bodies per 1 g of tissue).

Storage Conditions

Store at 15°C (59°F) to 25°C (77°F). Keep in original packaging, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
