Pharmacological Action

A combined herbal preparation that has cardiotonic, sedative, and spasmolytic effects.

Indications

  • Use as part of complex therapy for conditions of increased nervous excitability and restlessness.
  • Employ for managing nonorganic insomnia and other sleep disorders.
  • Utilize for the relief of spasms of the gastrointestinal tract, including abdominal colic.
  • Administer as an auxiliary agent in chronic heart failure of functional class I-II.

Dosage Regimen

The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen.

Administer orally. For adults, use 20 drops taken two to three times per day.

For children over 12 years of age, adjust the dose to 1 to 12 drops, with the exact number determined by the physician based on the child’s age and clinical condition.

Adverse Reactions

Monitor for systemic reactions such as muscle weakness and headache.

Be aware of potential allergic reactions. Note that prolonged use may lead to constipation.

Contraindications

  • Do not use in patients with endocarditis, myocarditis, or known hypersensitivity to any component of the combination.

Special Precautions

Influence on the ability to drive vehicles and mechanisms

During treatment, caution must be exercised when driving vehicles and engaging in other potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions.

Drug Interactions

This preparation enhances the sedative effect of hypnotics and other agents that depress the central nervous system.

Concomitant use with alcohol, tranquilizers, and neuroleptics may lead to excessive CNS depression; exercise caution and consider dose adjustments.

Overdose

Symptoms of overdose may include pronounced sedation, drowsiness, dizziness, and bradycardia.

In case of suspected overdose, discontinue the medication immediately and initiate symptomatic and supportive treatment. Gastric lavage and administration of activated charcoal may be considered.

Storage Conditions

Store at 2°C (36°F) to 25°C (77°F). Keep in original packaging, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
