Pharmacological Action

Antiseptic. It has an antibacterial effect against gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, and has antiviral, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and hemostatic effects.

Indications

Candidiasis of the skin, nail folds, and oral mucosa.
Inflammatory processes in the oral cavity and pharynx, including tonsillitis, stomatitis, pharyngitis, glossitis, and aphthous stomatitis.

For topical use in gynecology: bacterial vaginosis, candidal vaginitis, and trichomonal vaginitis.
Vaginal sanitation prior to gynecological operations and childbirth.
