Therapeutic Category

Dietary supplement for alleviating symptoms of menopausal condition

Properties

The dietary supplement Doppelherz® Aktiv Menopause contains Soy isoflavones, which are chemically similar to estradiol produced in the female body.

The use of phytoestrogens provides better tolerability and greater safety in the prevention and treatment of symptoms arising during the natural hormonal changes in the female body.

Calcium is one of the macronutrients present in all body tissues. Daily calcium loss in an adult is 200-350 mg and increases with physical exertion and various physiological conditions, especially during menopause.

Vitamin D3 is a fat-soluble vitamin involved in the regulation of mineral metabolism in the body. Vitamin D3 deficiency leads to disturbances in calcium-phosphorus metabolism, which is particularly important during menopause, as the body absorbs calcium less effectively during this period.

Vitamin B1 plays an important role in carbohydrate metabolism. A deficiency of the vitamin leads to impaired oxidation of carbohydrates, inhibition of energy and plastic processes that support vital functions, and the accumulation of under-oxidized metabolic products in the blood and tissues.

Vitamin B2 plays an important role in redox processes, participates in carbohydrate, lipid, and protein metabolism, normalizes the condition of the skin and mucous membranes, intestinal function, is a growth factor, and participates in the process of the eye’s adaptation to light.

Vitamin B6 participates in lipid and amino acid metabolism, and in the formation of hemoglobin. It stimulates muscle function, ensures the protective function of the skin, and promotes growth.

Vitamin B12 is necessary for the formation of hemoglobin and red blood cells, as well as for the prevention of anemia. It participates in the metabolism of carbohydrates and amino acids and is necessary for the normal functioning of nerve cells.

Folic acid participates in the metabolism and synthesis of a number of amino acids, including methionine and nucleic acids. It stimulates the hematopoietic function of the bone marrow.

Biotin participates in the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins, and lipids. It is important for the structure of healthy skin, hair, and nails. Deficiency leads to inflammatory changes in the skin, decreased hemoglobin levels, and increased fatigue.
