Doppelherz® Aktiv Vitamins for eyes with (Capsules) Instructions for Use

Therapeutic Category

Dietary supplement for maintaining the function of the visual organ

Properties

The complex contains vitamins, minerals, and plant extracts that have a positive effect on the visual organ.

The product used may not contain all the active substances listed below.

Bilberry fruit contains Anthocyanins, which are involved in the regeneration of the light-sensitive pigment rhodopsin and thus improve adaptation to different light levels, enhancing visual acuity in twilight.

Lutein is a carotenoid that is one of the main pigments protecting the eyes from photodamage. Lutein located in the lens and retina provides protection to photoreceptor cells from oxygen radicals, selectively absorbs UV (part of the light spectrum), provides the full spectrum of color perception, has an antioxidant effect, and also protects against the development of certain eye diseases.

Zeaxanthin is a carotenoid that also provides protection for the eyes from the danger of photodamage. Zeaxanthin together with lutein are the most active compounds in the antioxidant defense of the eyes. A positive role of zeaxanthin in reducing the risk of a number of ophthalmic diseases has been shown.

Lycopene accumulates in the pigment epithelium, choroid, and ciliary body of the eye. Possessing high antioxidant activity, lycopene protects the retina from the damaging effects of light and preserves the health of the eye vessels.

Taurine is an amino acid necessary for the retina of the eyes. At night, taurine accumulates and is consumed in bright light or eye strain. Therefore, taurine is necessary for eye fatigue. It helps normalize metabolic processes in the eye tissues.

Vitamin A plays an important role in cell growth and has the ability to protect the body from the destructive effects of free radicals. Vitamin A performs an important function in dark adaptation processes and is necessary for the biosynthesis of the light-sensitive pigment of the retinal rods (rhodopsin). In addition, vitamin A affects the immune system.

Vitamin E is a participant in cell metabolism, protein metabolism, and is an antioxidant. It contributes to a beneficial effect on the retina of the eye.

Vitamin C is an antioxidant that helps maintain the activity of the extraocular muscles, the optic nerve, and maintain the necessary concentration of collagen in the optical structures of the eye. With a lack of vitamin C, the eyes quickly tire, and muscle tone decreases. It increases the effectiveness of antioxidants (Lutein, zeaxanthin, Anthocyanins), which accelerates the restoration of visual pigments in the retina.

Vitamin B1 helps regulate the metabolism of carbohydrates and fats in all organs and tissues of the human body, and also promotes the transmission of nerve impulses in any organ, including the eyes. It has a positive effect on the nervous system and mental abilities.

Folic acid is a vital and essential vitamin that the body needs to maintain numerous metabolic processes. Folic acid is actively involved in protein metabolism, in the synthesis of nucleic acids and a number of amino acids.

Lemon bioflavonoid complex is a combination of plant pigments (flavonoids) with high biological activity. Bioflavonoids positively affect the condition of capillaries, reducing their fragility and brittleness, have antioxidant properties, and have a beneficial effect on the vascular system of the eyes, improving blood supply.
