Properties
Red clover is the only natural source of all 4 isoflavones (biochanin A, formononetin, daidzein, genistein) with their highest concentration.
The isoflavones of red clover are structurally the closest to human estrogens compared to other phytoestrogens.
Due to this similarity, the use of red clover isoflavones compensates for the deficiency of the body’s own estrogens and, thereby, may reduce menopausal manifestations.
It has a moderate hypolipidemic effect.
It helps to normalize the permeability of the vascular wall.
Scope of Application
As an additional source of isoflavones (phytohormones) from red clover for undesirable manifestations of menopause due to the appearance of estrogen deficiency in the female body. Mild type IIa hyperlipidemia according to Fredrickson.
