The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen.

Apply the solution externally to affected skin areas using a cotton swab or brush.

Administer the solution two to four times daily or as directed by a physician.

Allow the applied liquid to dry completely on the skin.

After drying, you may apply other topical medications, such as ointments or pastes, to the treated area.

Avoid application to large skin surfaces due to the risk of systemic absorption of phenol.

Discontinue use and consult a physician if signs of skin irritation or hypersensitivity occur.

Do not use on extensive wounds, deep cuts, or severe burns.

Prevent contact with mucous membranes and eyes.

The solution has a distinctive red color that may stain skin and fabrics.

Adverse Reactions

A short-term sensation of burning and pain at the site of application of the solution, which goes away on its own and does not require discontinuation of the drug.

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

It is not recommended for use by women during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Special Precautions

The drug should not be applied to large areas of the skin, because Phenol, which is part of the solution, can cause toxic phenomena ( dizziness, weakness).

The drug has a peculiar smell and red color, and may stain linen.

Overdose

With prolonged use of Fucorcin and its use on extensive areas of the skin, an overdose of the drug is possible, which is accompanied by phenomena characteristic of phenol poisoning (dizziness, weakness, respiratory distress).

If such phenomena occur, it is necessary to provide the patient with access to fresh air and carry out symptomatic treatment.
