Dosage Regimen

The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen.

Administer one suppository rectally once daily, preferably in the evening.

Perform thorough hand hygiene before administration. Insert the suppository into the rectum after natural bowel emptying or a cleansing enema.

The duration of use is determined by the physician based on clinical indications and therapeutic response. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

Adverse Reactions

Adverse reactions are rare and typically mild in nature.

Local reactions may include burning, itching, or discomfort in the rectal area immediately after administration. Systemic reactions are uncommon but may manifest as allergic skin reactions such as urticaria or rash.

Discontinue use and consult a physician if any persistent or severe adverse reactions occur.

Drug Interactions

No clinically significant drug interactions have been reported to date.

The preparation can generally be used concomitantly with other medications. However, inform your physician about all concurrently taken drugs, including prescription, over-the-counter, and herbal products.

The absorption of other rectally administered medications may be affected; maintain an appropriate time interval between administrations.

Contraindications

Do not use under the following conditions:

  • Rectal bleeding of undetermined etiology.
