Oral solution light brown in color, slightly cloudy, with a characteristic odor.

* extractant – ethanol 30% ((5-8):1)

Excipients : liquid sorbitol 70%, non-crystallizing – 550 mg, potassium sorbate – 1.34 mg, anhydrous citric acid – 0.5 mg, xanthan gum – 1.5 mg, cherry flavor – 2.2 mg, purified water – up to 1 ml.

Pharmacological Action

Herbal medicine. It has an expectorant, mucolytic and antispasmodic effect due to the presence of saponins.

Indications

As an expectorant in the complex therapy of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract, accompanied by cough with difficult to separate sputum.

Dosage Regimen

The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen.

Administer orally. Use the provided measuring cup for accurate dosing.

For adults and adolescents over 12 years, take 2.5 ml three times daily.

For children aged 6 to 12 years, take 2.5 ml twice daily.

For children aged 2 to 5 years, take 1.25 ml three times daily.

For children under 2 years, the dosage is 1.25 ml twice daily; use only after consultation with a physician.

Adhere to a minimum interval of 6-8 hours between doses.

Shake the bottle well before each use.

The duration of treatment depends on the clinical situation. Continue therapy for several days after symptom improvement.

If symptoms persist beyond 5-7 days of treatment, or if high fever, shortness of breath, or purulent sputum occurs, discontinue use and consult a physician.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Concurrent use with antitussive medications is contraindicated.

Adverse Reactions

Possible allergic reactions, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.

Rarely pain in the epigastric region.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug; childhood – depending on the dosage form.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

Not recommended for use during pregnancy and lactation.

Pediatric Use

It can be used in children of the appropriate age categories according to indications, in recommended doses and dosage forms. It is necessary to strictly follow the instructions in the instructions for ivy preparations regarding contraindications for the use of specific dosage forms of this drug in children of different ages.

Special Precautions

During treatment, it is recommended to consume a sufficient amount of warm liquid (water, tea, etc.).

Drug Interactions
