Properties

The human body is constantly renewing itself at the cellular level. This is governed by 2 processes that are in balance: proliferation and apoptosis.

• Proliferation – the multiplication (division and growth) of cells.

• Apoptosis – the programmed death of cells after they have fulfilled their functions.

Under the influence of various factors, the balance between the processes of proliferation and apoptosis can be disrupted, and the processes of cell division and growth begin to prevail over their death. This leads to pathological tissue overgrowth, or hyperplasia. As a result, undesirable changes occur in the tissues of various organs of the reproductive system, such as

• Fibrocystic mastopathy;

• Endometriosis;

• Cervical dysplasia (with papillomavirus infection);

• Benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Mastopathy is a disease characterized by disturbances in the processes of proliferation and regressive changes in breast tissues. The most common cause of mastopathy is hormonal imbalances. The disease is accompanied not only by discomfort and pain but also by an increased risk of tissue transformation into malignant forms.

Endometriosis is the growth of endometrial cells in the muscular layers of the uterus (adenomyosis), on other organs (ovaries, fallopian tubes, intestines, peritoneum, bladder). Endometriosis can occur with severe pain syndrome, intensifying during menstruation, physical exertion, or sexual intercourse. The disease is also accompanied by fatigue, drowsiness, decreased work capacity, and is often a cause of infertility.

There are non-hormonal substances of natural origin that can support the necessary balance between cell proliferation and apoptosis. Such substances include Indole-3-carbinol and Resveratrol, which are part of the Imaston product.

Due to the complex action of its active components, Imaston helps normalize the course of proliferative processes and assists the body in preventing excessive cell growth.

Action of Imaston Components at the Cellular Level

Indole-3-carbinol (an organic substance)

• Normalizes hormonal balance²;

• Helps reduce pain and discomfort in the mammary glands with mastopathy²;

• Reduces the likelihood of neoplasms in the mammary glands and reproductive organs².

Resveratrol (a natural antioxidant)

• Possesses antioxidant activity;

Imaston – Non-Hormonal Protection for the Reproductive System

• Unique combination of indole-3-carbinol and the antioxidant resveratrol.
• The action of indole-3-carbinol and resveratrol is directed not only against the symptoms but also against the causes of excessive tissue growth^2,3.
• High content of indole-3-carbinol in 1 capsule – 200 mg⁴.

Imaston is used to support the normal function of the reproductive system organs:

• For fibrocystic mastopathy^2,5;
• Endometriosis^6,7;
• Papillomavirus infection^8,9.

Imaston can be taken by male patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia, as it is caused precisely by a violation of proliferation processes:

• Indole-3-carbinol blocks excessive growth of prostate cells and helps reduce inflammation in its tissues¹⁰;
• Resveratrol may reduce the risk of prostate tissue transformation and reduces inflammation¹¹.

Dosage Regimen

Take orally, with meals.

Adults: 1 capsule once a day. The duration of intake is 1 month. If necessary, the intake can be repeated.

Contraindications

• Individual intolerance to the components;
• Pregnancy;
• Breastfeeding period.

Contraindicated for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Storage Conditions
