Dosage Form, Packaging, and Composition
Oral solution slightly thick, yellow-brown in color with a characteristic anise odor.

* – is a mixture of the following composition: ivy leaf extract – 88.0%; maltodextrin – 10.0%; silicon dioxide – 2.0%.
Extraction solvent ethyl alcohol 30% (w/w)
Excipients : sorbitol solution (non-crystallizing), propylene glycol, glycerol, macrogolglycerol hydroxystearate, hydroxyethylcellulose, anise oil, hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide solution (to maintain pH level), purified water.
100 ml – bottles (1) together with a dosing syringe – cardboard packs with an insert.

Pharmacological Action
Herbal medicine. It has an expectorant, mucolytic, and antispasmodic effect due to the presence of saponins.
Indications
As an expectorant in the complex therapy of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract, accompanied by cough with difficult-to-discharge sputum.

Dosage Regimen
| The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen. |
Administer orally. Use the provided dosing syringe for accurate measurement.
Shake the bottle well before each use.
For adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older: take 2.5 ml of the solution three times daily.
For children aged 6 to 11 years: take 2.5 ml of the solution twice daily.
For children aged 2 to 5 years: take 1.25 ml of the solution three times daily.
For children under 2 years of age: use is not recommended due to lack of data.
Adhere to the maximum daily dose of 7.5 ml for adults and adolescents, 5 ml for children aged 6-11 years, and 3.75 ml for children aged 2-5 years.
Take the dose between meals for optimal absorption.
The duration of treatment depends on the clinical situation. Continue therapy for several days after symptom resolution.
If symptoms persist beyond 5-7 days of treatment, or if high fever, shortness of breath, or purulent sputum occurs, consult a physician.
Adverse Reactions
Possible allergic reactions, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.
Rarely pain in the epigastric region.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug; childhood – depending on the dosage form.
Use in Pregnancy and Lactation
Not recommended for use during pregnancy and lactation.
Pediatric Use
Use in children of appropriate age categories is possible according to indications, in recommended doses and dosage forms. It is necessary to strictly follow the instructions in the leaflets for ivy preparations regarding contraindications for the use of specific dosage forms of this drug in children of different ages.
Special Precautions
During treatment, it is recommended to consume a sufficient amount of warm fluids (water, tea, etc.).
If there is no effect after 5-7 days of treatment with the drug and/or if the condition worsens (appearance of asthma attacks, purulent sputum, fever), it is necessary to consult a doctor.
Drug Interactions
Should not be used simultaneously with antitussive drugs, as this impedes the discharge of liquefied sputum.
Storage Conditions
Store at 2°C (36°F) to 25°C (77°F). Keep in original packaging, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
