Pharmacological Action

The substance is obtained from an aqueous solution of nitric acid, which has a characteristic odor. Upon contact with the skin, it stains it yellow.

Indications

Key symptoms for prescribing the drug

  • Acute pain, as from a splinter or thorn at the site of the skin lesion;
  • Severe false painful urge to defecate with anal fissures, felt for a long time after defecation;
  • Fatigue and marked asthenia;
  • Appearance of neoplasms on the skin or mucous membranes;
  • Chronic inflammation of the mucous membranes;
  • Slow and gradual development of diseases;
  • Tendency to depressive disorders.

Main cases of clinical application

Gastroenterology

  • Aphthous stomatitis, angular cheilitis;
  • Treatment of peptic ulcer recurrences, if endoscopic examination reveals linear, bleeding scars;
  • Colopathy accompanied by diarrhea (loose stools with blood and mucus) and severe weakness;
  • Sigmoid diverticulitis;
  • Prevention of sigmoid polyp recurrences;
  • Ulcerative nonspecific colitis;
  • Anal fissures with sharp pain and false painful urge to defecate.

Dermatology

  • Plantar warts or other keratotic warts of a characteristic yellow color;

  • Vaginitis with purulent discharge causing irritation of the mucous membranes;
  • Exocervicitis with ulcer formation that bleeds easily with the slightest contact;
  • Cervical polyps, condylomas of the cervical canal;
  • Nipple fissures during breastfeeding.

Urology

  • Prevention of bladder polyp recurrences.

Otorhinolaryngology

  • Chronic pharyngitis with pain on swallowing

Dosage Regimen

The granules should be dissolved in the mouth 30 minutes before a meal or 60 minutes after a meal.

For children from 0 to 3 years old, the granules are first diluted by shaking in 10-15 ml of water at room temperature and given to drink.

The optimal amount per dose is 5 granules.
