Dosage Regimen

It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen. |
Use externally only. Do not ingest or apply to mucous membranes.
Apply the solution to the affected skin areas using a sterile gauze pad or by irrigation. Use 2 to 3 times daily, or as directed by a physician. The duration of treatment depends on the severity of the condition and the healing rate.
Avoid contact with eyes. In case of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with copious amounts of water.
Adverse Reactions
Monitor the application site for signs of local intolerance.
Allergic reactions are possible, including skin rash, itching, redness, and urticaria. Discontinue use immediately if any signs of hypersensitivity appear.
Local reactions, such as transient burning or irritation, may occur, especially on denuded skin or severe burns.
Drug Interactions
No specific drug interactions for external use are well-documented.
Exercise caution with concurrent use of other topical preparations on the same area to avoid physical or chemical incompatibility.
The systemic absorption of procaine is minimal with correct external application, making systemic interactions unlikely.
Contraindications
Do not use this solution under any circumstances if the patient has a known hypersensitivity to any of its components.
- Hypersensitivity to procaine (novocaine) or other ester-type local anesthetics.
- Hypersensitivity to nitrofural (furacillin) or other nitrofuran derivatives.
- Known allergic reaction to any of the excipients, including ethanol.
- Do not apply to extensively denuded skin surfaces or severe burns covering a large body surface area due to increased risk of systemic absorption and adverse effects.
Overdose
Overdose is unlikely with correct external use due to limited systemic absorption.
Symptoms of systemic procaine toxicity (CNS effects, cardiovascular collapse) could theoretically occur with application to extensive, severely damaged skin or mucous membranes.
In case of accidental ingestion, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms may include dizziness, nausea, and convulsions. Treatment is symptomatic and supportive.
