Properties

Dietary supplement.

Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) – eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) are essential fatty acids (EFAs).

They reduce the concentration of triglycerides by decreasing the concentration of VLDL. They suppress the synthesis of thromboxane A₂ and slightly increase blood clotting time. They do not have a significant effect on other blood clotting factors.

They delay the synthesis of triglycerides in the liver (by inhibiting the esterification of EPA and DHA).

The most well-known and well-studied omega-6 PUFAs are linoleic and arachidonic acids.

Adequate levels of these acids in the body are important for the functioning of the cardiovascular system, carbohydrate metabolism, and during periods of growth and development.

In combination with fiber and vitamin B₆, omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids eliminate dry skin, help with eczema and atopic dermatitis, improve calcium metabolism, reduce its loss during stress, stimulate the healing of wounds, ulcers, and burns.

The use of omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids in combination with vitamin E contributes to weight loss.

Vitamin E (alpha-tocopherol acetate) has antioxidant properties, maintains erythrocyte stability, prevents hemolysis; has a positive effect on the functions of the gonads, nervous, and muscle tissue.

Carotenoids (beta-carotene, lutein, lycopene, zeaxanthin) are natural organic pigments synthesized by bacteria, fungi, algae, higher plants, and coral polyps; they are colored yellow, orange, or red.

Beta-carotene is a precursor of vitamin A. It has an antioxidant effect and has the ability to inactivate free radicals under hypoxic conditions. It has an immunomodulatory effect. It increases the body’s resistance to infections.

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) ensures the synthesis of collagen; participates in the formation and maintenance of the structure and function of cartilage, bones, teeth; affects the formation of hemoglobin and the maturation of erythrocytes.

Dietary supplements, in addition to the indicated active substances, may contain Choline, zinc, selenium.

Choline is a vitamin-like substance. In the human body, it is necessary for the synthesis of vital substances – acetylcholine and lecithin (phosphatidylcholine).

It helps to improve the activity of the nervous system, mental and emotional spheres. It regulates the process of lipid metabolism in the liver.

Zinc has immunomodulatory properties, promotes the absorption of vitamin A, regeneration and hair growth.

Selenium stimulates immunity and is an antioxidant. It contributes to the normal development of the cell.
