Pharmacological Action

Indications
- External hemorrhoids (uncomplicated forms).
Apply only for the symptomatic relief of mild, uncomplicated cases. Discontinue use and consult a physician if symptoms persist or worsen.
This product is not intended to treat severe or complicated hemorrhoidal disease requiring medical or surgical intervention.

Dosage Regimen

Apply a thin layer to the affected area twice daily and after each bowel movement.
Ensure thorough hygiene and drying of the perianal area prior to each application. The standard treatment course is 7 to 10 days.
Restrict use to adults and children over 12 years of age. Do not exceed the recommended frequency or duration of application.
Adverse Reactions
Monitor for localized allergic reactions, including skin rash, itching, redness, or burning sensation at the application site.
Discontinue use immediately if any signs of hypersensitivity appear. The frequency of these reactions is not known.
Report any severe or persistent adverse reactions to a healthcare professional.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to Paeonia officinalis or any of the ointment’s excipients.
- Do not apply to broken skin, infected areas, or open wounds in the perianal region.
- Contraindicated in children under 12 years of age due to the lack of safety and efficacy data in this population.
Drug Interactions
Formal drug interaction studies have not been conducted. No specific interactions with other medicinal products are currently known.
To avoid potential physical or chemical incompatibilities, do not apply other topical products (ointments, creams, powders) to the same area simultaneously.

Overdose
