Pharmacological Action

A homeopathic preparation with anti-allergic action. It has anti-edematous, anti-pruritic, and anti-inflammatory effects. Reduces increased secretion in the nasal sinuses.

  • Allergic rhinitis caused by plant pollen;
  • Perennial allergic rhinitis (as part of combination therapy).

Dosage Regimen

The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen.

For acute course of the disease, adults and children over 12 years are prescribed 1 tablet every hour (no more than 12 times/day) until improvement occurs. Subsequently, 1-2 tablets are prescribed 3 times/day.

Children from 6 to 12 years are prescribed 1 tablet every hour (no more than 8 times/day) until improvement occurs. Subsequently, 1-2 tablets are prescribed 2 times/day.

For allergic rhinitis caused by plant pollen, for preventive purposes, adults and children over 12 years are prescribed 1 tablet 3 times/day; children from 6 to 12 years are prescribed 1 tablet 2 times/day. Treatment should be started 6 weeks before the appearance of the pollen causing the allergy.

The tablets should be taken 30 minutes before or 30 minutes after a meal, slowly dissolving them in the mouth.

Long-term use of the drug is possible.

  • Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

If it is necessary to use Rhinital during pregnancy and lactation, the expected benefit for the mother and the potential risk to the fetus should be weighed.

Pediatric Use

Special Precautions

When using Rhinital, a temporary worsening of the condition is possible. In this case, the patient should stop taking the drug and consult a doctor.

When using Rhinital, the use of other medications is allowed.

Overdose

To date, no cases of overdose with Rhinital have been reported.

Storage Conditions

The drug should be stored out of the reach of children at a temperature between 15°C (59°F) and 25°C (77°F).
