The initial dose can be maintained at the same level or to get until, until you reach the desired effect. If after enough prolonged use of the drug the clinical effect is not achieved, the drug Cortef should be discontinued and the patient the other acceptable therapy. The dose should be individualized on the basis of the clinical picture and the patient’s response. After reaching the desired reaction required maintenance dose is determined by gradually lowering the initial dose at appropriate time intervals until, until you reach the lowest dose that supports the desired effect. It should be borne in mind that when you change the dosage should be carefully monitored for the patient. To carry out the refinement of the doses should be in the following cases: when changes in the clinical picture as a result of remission or exacerbation of the disease in manifestations of individual sensitivity and reactivity of the patient, in case of impact on patient stressful situations not related to illness for which prescribed treatment. In the latter case you should increase the dose of the drug for this period of time. If necessary, discontinuation of the drug long-term treatment to reduce the dose gradually.
