Properties
A dietary supplement of plant origin. The action is due to the properties of the components contained in the product.
The use of the product helps to reduce the time to fall asleep and improve sleep quality.
Eschscholzia extract has anxiolytic, sedative effects, reduces the time to fall asleep and improves sleep quality in mild forms of sleep disorders.
Passionflower extract has a sedative and mild hypnotic effect.
Green oat extract prevents pathological changes in the body caused by stress.
Motherwort herb has sedative, hypotensive, negative chronotropic and cardiotonic effects. The action is due to the properties of biologically active substances contained in the plant (including glycosides, alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins).
Valerian causes a moderately pronounced sedative effect. The action is due to the content of essential oil, most of which is the complex ester of borneol and isovaleric acid. Valepotriates and alkaloids – valerine and chotenine – also have sedative properties. Valerian facilitates the onset of natural sleep. Valerenic acid and valepotriates have a weak antispasmodic effect.
In addition, the complex of biologically active substances of valerian officinalis has a choleretic effect, enhances the secretory activity of the gastrointestinal mucosa, slows the heart rate and dilates the coronary vessels. The regulation of cardiac activity is mediated through neuroregulatory mechanisms and a direct influence on the automation and conduction system of the heart.
When motherwort herb and valerian are combined, the sedative effect and the effect on the cardiovascular system are enhanced.
Mint causes moderate sedative, antianginal, carminative, antihypoxic effects, choleretic, antiseptic, analgesic, antiemetic action. The therapeutic effects are mainly due to the components of the essential oil, of which menthol is the most studied.
Lemon balm causes sedative, anticonvulsant, antihypertensive, antiarrhythmic, antispasmodic, antiemetic effects. The active components of lemon balm improve digestion processes, have a mild choleretic effect, and contribute to the restoration of the intestinal saprophytic flora and the secretion of digestive enzymes.
Hops – the calming (sedative) effect of hops is associated with the bitter substance lupulin. The complex of biologically active substances (including flavonoids, hormones, vitamins) determines the anti-inflammatory, capillary-strengthening, hyposensitizing and analgesic properties.
