Pharmacological Action

A natural origin agent that has a local irritant, analgesic, “distracting” and antiseptic effect.

Indications

  • Use as part of complex therapy for neuralgia and myalgia.
  • Apply for rheumatic pains and lumbosciatica to alleviate discomfort.

Dosage Regimen

The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen.

Apply externally to the affected areas. Use a sufficient amount to cover the skin and rub in with light circular motions for several minutes until fully absorbed.

Repeat application 1 to 3 times per day, depending on the severity of symptoms. Avoid use on damaged skin, mucous membranes, or open wounds. Wash hands thoroughly after application.

Adverse Reactions

Local skin reactions, including redness, itching, burning sensation, or urticaria, may occur at the application site.

In cases of hypersensitivity, more severe allergic reactions, such as skin rash or dermatitis, are possible. Discontinue use immediately if any adverse reactions develop.

Drug Interactions

No specific drug interactions are currently known. The potential for interaction with other topically applied products exists.

Avoid concurrent application with other local irritants or topical medications on the same skin area to prevent additive skin irritation or unpredictable effects.

Contraindications

  • Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to turpentine oil or any other component of the ointment.
  • Contraindicated for application on damaged skin, eczematous skin, or mucous membranes.
  • Avoid use in patients with severe hepatic impairment or severe renal impairment due to potential systemic absorption.

Overdose

Symptoms of overdose include intense skin irritation, severe redness, burning pain, or blister formation.

In case of accidental ingestion, seek immediate medical attention. Treatment is symptomatic and supportive. For dermal overdose, thoroughly wash the affected area with soap and water and do not reapply the product.

Storage Conditions

The drug should be stored at a temperature not exceeding 25°C (77°F), in a place protected from light and out of the reach of children.

Shelf Life

Shelf life – 5 years. Do not use after the expiration date printed on the packaging.
