Dietary supplement – an additional source of vitamins, minerals, and coenzyme Q10

Properties

Vitamins are low-molecular-weight organic compounds of various chemical natures that are necessary for carrying out vital biochemical and physiological processes in living organisms.

The human and animal body does not synthesize vitamins or synthesizes them in insufficient quantities, so it must receive them in ready-made form with food.

In addition to vitamins, other essential substances – macro- and microelements – must be present in small doses in the human diet. They participate in many vital metabolic reactions, and some of them are necessary to ensure an adequate level of activity of the corresponding vitamins.

Fatigue, loss of strength, weakness, nervous tension – these are often the consequences of the body’s current energy needs not being met. The harmful effects of the environment, lack of beneficial components in food, an intensive lifestyle, and constant stress contribute to a deficiency of vitamins and mineral elements necessary for the body.

The use of oral contraceptives also disrupts the status of many micronutrients in the body: folic acid, B vitamins, vitamin C, zinc, magnesium.

A lack of micronutrients in the diet can impair the ability to remember and think, and contribute to the development of depression. A deficiency of B vitamins (especially thiamine B1, niacin B3, folic acid, and vitamin B12) can impair mental functions, worsen memory, and reduce concentration.

The Vitrum® Energy vitamin-mineral complex contains 13 vitamins and 8 minerals, as well as Coenzyme Q10 – essential components that work to maintain energy and tone.

B vitamins have a key impact on performance and energy: vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5 regulate the functional state of the central nervous system, metabolism, and tissue trophism, which is why they are used to increase the overall reactivity of the body.

B vitamins and Iron participate in the formation of hemoglobin, improve blood circulation, carry out the transport of nutrients, accelerate regeneration processes, enhance the body’s resistance to various stressful situations, and participate in the synthesis of neurotransmitters.

Magnesium controls the balance of intracellular potassium, regulates the functions of the cardiovascular and nervous systems, participates in the body’s energy processes, eliminates muscle cramps, helps relieve stress, and promotes recovery after physical exertion.

Vitamin C – an antioxidant, participates in the body’s resistance to various stressful situations, promotes collagen synthesis, maintaining normal tone, and strengthening the vascular wall.

Vitamin D is responsible for maintaining skeletal functions, regulates calcium metabolism, nervous system tone, the normal ratio of sleep and wakefulness, and helps maintain normal muscle tone and cardiovascular system.

Iodine helps maintain the body’s physical and mental functions; its deficiency is associated with reduced immunity.

Coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone) is a vitamin-like substance that improves energy production in cells, has a beneficial effect on the cardiovascular system, helps increase performance, physical endurance, and also has an antioxidant effect. The consumption of ubiquinone progressively increases with physical and emotional stress, frequent colds, and chronic stress, creating a high probability of developing its deficiency.
