Chewable tablets round, with non-uniform coloration with light and dark specks ranging from light gray-brown to dark gray-brown; with a specific sweetish odor and taste.

Pharmacological Action

Vitrum® Teenager is used to normalize all body functions during the period of intensive growth and puberty.

It protects against harmful environmental influences.

It is necessary in case of dietary regimen violations, with unbalanced and/or inadequate nutrition.

Indications

  • Prevention and treatment of hypovitaminosis and mineral deficiency in children and adolescents during the period of intensive growth and development, as well as in debilitated or frequently ill children;
  • To activate the body’s defenses;
  • For adaptation to increased physical and emotional stress (examination period, active sports);
  • Necessary for children and adolescents living in an unfavorable ecological environment.

Dosage Regimen

The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen.

Administer orally, once daily.

Take the tablet after a meal.

Chew the tablet completely before swallowing.

The recommended dosage is one chewable tablet per day for adolescents aged 12 to 18 years.

Use for the prevention and correction of vitamin and mineral deficiencies.

Adhere strictly to the once-daily schedule; do not divide the dose.

This regimen is indicated during periods of intensive growth, increased physical exertion, emotional stress, or inadequate dietary intake.

Do not exceed the stated daily dose.

Consult a physician for use beyond continuous long-term supplementation.

Adverse Reactions

Possible allergic reactions to the components of the drug; intense yellow coloration of urine, which is not dangerous, as it is due to the presence of riboflavin in the drug’s composition.

Contraindications

  • Hypervitaminosis A, E and D;
  • Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug.

Special Precautions

Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Overdose

In case of accidental overdose, a doctor should be consulted.

Treatment: symptomatic – activated charcoal orally, gastric lavage.

Drug Interactions

Concomitant use with other preparations containing vitamins A, E, D is not recommended to avoid overdose.

Storage Conditions

Store in a dry place, out of reach of children, at a temperature of 10-30°C (50-86°F).

Shelf Life

Shelf life – 5 years. Do not use the drug after the expiration date printed on the package.
