Dosage Regimen
| The method of application and dosage regimen for a specific drug depend on its form of release and other factors. The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the compliance of the dosage form of a specific drug with the indications for use and dosage regimen. |
The recommended dosage for adults and children over 14 years of age is one capsule, to be taken with a glass of water.
It is recommended to take the capsule during or immediately after a meal to aid in the digestion of food components.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. The duration of use should not exceed one month without consulting a physician or pharmacist. If symptoms persist, worsen, or if you have an underlying medical condition, consult a healthcare professional before continuing use.
Adverse Reactions
Wellzyme is generally well-tolerated when used at the recommended dosage. However, in rare cases, individual sensitivity to the components may occur.
Possible adverse reactions may include gastrointestinal discomfort, such as mild nausea, abdominal bloating, or changes in bowel habits. These symptoms are usually transient and resolve on their own.
In very rare instances, an allergic reaction may develop, which could manifest as skin rash, itching, or urticaria. If any signs of an allergic reaction or other persistent adverse effects occur, discontinue use immediately and seek medical advice.
Indications
- For use as a dietary supplement to support healthy digestive function.
- To assist in the breakdown of dietary components such as carbohydrates, proteins, fats, and fibers, which may help reduce feelings of heaviness and bloating after eating.
- May be beneficial for individuals experiencing discomfort associated with the consumption of hard-to-digest foods.
- To complement the diet with a complex of digestive enzymes to promote overall gastrointestinal well-being.
Drug Interactions
No specific drug interactions with Wellzyme have been reported in clinical studies. However, as a general precaution, if you are taking any prescription medications, especially those that affect gastrointestinal motility or secretion, you should inform your doctor before starting this supplement.
Theoretically, digestive enzymes could potentially influence the absorption of other concurrently administered medications. Therefore, it is advisable to take Wellzyme at a different time from other oral medications, maintaining a gap of at least 1-2 hours, unless otherwise directed by a healthcare provider.
If you are taking anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs (e.g., warfarin, aspirin), exercise caution due to the presence of bromelain and papain, which may have mild effects on platelet aggregation. Consult your physician for personalized advice.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity or known allergy to any of the ingredients listed in the composition, including enzymes and other excipients.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding. Due to the lack of sufficient safety data in these populations, the use of Wellzyme is not recommended for pregnant or lactating women.
- Children under 14 years of age. The safety and efficacy of the product have not been established for this age group.
- Individuals with severe pre-existing gastrointestinal diseases, such as active peptic ulcers, Crohn’s disease, or ulcerative colitis, should use the product only after consultation with a physician.
Overdose
Cases of overdose with Wellzyme have not been reported. Given the composition, significant overdose is unlikely to lead to serious life-threatening conditions.
However, taking excessively high doses beyond the recommended intake may increase the risk of experiencing the adverse reactions described above, particularly gastrointestinal discomfort such as diarrhea, abdominal cramps, or nausea.
In case of suspected overdose, discontinue use immediately and drink plenty of fluids. Treatment should be symptomatic and supportive. If severe symptoms occur or persist, it is recommended to seek medical attention or contact a poison control center for further guidance.
